  Ok quick dual purpose Cody's Thoughts this morning because I just went to downtown Hutch and Downtown Hutch is at this exact moment serving a dual purpose role.

I went downtown to check out the Hutchinson Ks Farmer's Market and got to mosey around and see Hutch Fest starting to wake up a little bit.

Ok the Farmer's Market is way cooler than I thought it was...

I have never been I am a jerk, I will be going again.

I am now a huge fan of the Famer's Market and be prepared for whatsuphutch.com to start finding ways to convince you to go check it out.

 

 

Hutchinson Kansas Hutchfest is up and cranking this morning as well... Other than that I don't know... The car show was really neat. The kids looked like they were having fun. When the BBQ contest finally opened up to samplers, it was great! It was definately worth the long wait in line. For just $2 you got "sample kit". The samples weren't huge, but after eating at all 8 of the BBQ tents, I was more than full! The only thing I think could be improved is to have the food vendors dispersed among the other events. They wer mostly clustered around the Ave A intersection, so if you were up at 2nd Ave at the car show and got thirsty, it was a long walk to find a bottled water. It was quite interesting, he hypnotised people and had them smelling each others arm pits as if it was a great smell of cookies. They were also told that their feet itched bad and they needed to help their neighbor itch their feet. Hilarious to watch but kinda gross. I had two family members participae in the trator pull and they both won first place! Cute little show. Weather was beautiful and we had a great time. I wish I an raised my hand ... I am sceptical as to the validity of it but can't knock the entertainment value.
