Relay for Life - Tamara wrote a community blog asking for a little bit of help raising money for Relay for Life in memory of her Mom. Well I am happy to report that whatsuphutch.com readers come through in a huge way... Tamara raised $1,102.00 total. She was the #2 overall individual in Reno County and the number one online fundraiser. Way to go whatsuphutch readers!!!!

Stuff The Bus - we considered Whatsuphutch.com presents "Stuff The Bus" a huge success!!! We don't have an official report from Rcat about it but we will.
We will also get Lynn Kiker to sit down with us in the next week or 10 days and address all the questions and comments that were presented. I do know this... I learned that it is incredibly easy and convenient to ride, in certain circumstances. Not all circumstances and that only makes sense. Rcat is not capable of solving every transportation issue in Reno County. It is very capable, right now, today, of offering you an alternative to $4.00 a gallon gas for some of your transportation. Keep the comments coming here.

Downtown Art Walk - ok honestly I screwed up on this one, wasn't really looking forward to it and had another commitment. But after looking at videos here and incredible pictures here , I really wish I had made it to this event and will next time it comes around.

Whatuphutch.com launched a new channel called Eats. It's getting a good response and will grow even more this week, check it out and let us know what you think.

Does everyone know that anyone can post a community blog ?? All you have to do is get registered and you can post a community blog. Use it to promote your band, discuss a topic, voice a complaint, promote your Garden Tour (which I now also wish I had checked out) whatever... Obviously if you take advantage of us and get inappropriate we will delete, but try it out. Patsy wrote a tremendous community blog here, that kinda epitomizes what I personally think a community blog should be all about. Her thoughts with comments and suggestions. Great post Patsy!

I am kinda surprised more folks didn't comment on the Hutchinson Magazine. That was a quality publication! Do you think it will last? Do you think they will run out of cool things to report on??

We also just launched Guest posts under Reads. If you have a column and don't think it belongs under community blogs send it to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . We will review it and it might get published under "Guest Posts". Keep in mind if you make it a community blog it can just go up live and the discussion can beginimmediately . Guest Post will go under review and be held until we are ready to post it, if at all. So your call!! Just go for it and write something.

Today is officially our 1 Month birthday. Help us celebrate by sending us an email and telling us what you would like for us to do with the site. We are very happy with the progress we have made, but we want to make it better everyday and we need your input.
