Well whatsuphutch.com is officially 18 days old, we have had just under
18,000 page views, we have had visitors from 12 countries, 47 states
and we are considering the first 18 days a resounding success. We have had 301 comments to our content and 19 community blogs posted by readers, the participation has been better than we expected this early on. We had to defend ourselves already when Dwight Jurgens voiced his opinion about whatsuphutch.com, click here.
Our main concern from the beginning was how to get content to keep it
fresh... We have had to turn away prospective columnists because we
needed to slow down a tad and make sure we stayed organized. By next
week we should have a total of 10 columnists under "Reads" and 2 more
contributors to 2 new "Channels" we are gonna add. Send us an email if
you are interested.

1. 24-06-2008 17:53 I have a funny story about the Roundabout. Back in 2001 with HHS won the State Basketball title I was contacted about providing an HHS flag to be hung at the Roundabout in honor of their championship. I was the Booster Club Prez at the time plus I had a son on that Championship Team so I quickly agreed it was a great idea. I gave them mine and after a few weeks I received a phone call from the City saying the flag had been stolen. Time passed and a friend emailed me one day saying she had overheard a conversation between several Buhler High School baseball players bragging about taking the flag. I called one of their parents that I knew (as I would have hoped they would of done in the same situation) and the flag was quickly located. It had, however, been spray painted with several comments in Buhler maroon paint. One young man returned the flag - very apologetically (most likely at his parents urging) and all was forgiven. The art may not attract many\'s attention but the flags flying overhead obviously provided these high school kids some relatively harmless fun and a story that they\'ve probably retold many times!! By the way - I love the thing!! Write Comment
