So the Fair is HERE!  I am usually not much of a name dropper but you can get the very best chili seasoning at the Kansas State Fair. It is the Old Westport Spice and Trading co. Chili Seasoning.  With this seasoning you will not have to add any other spice to your chili.  It is so good.  GO GET IT! And with fall right around the bend it is a must to have your chili fixings on hand.

Ingredients:

1 lb meat you can use ground beef, ground turkey, stew meat what ever you like.

1 chopped onion

3 cans beans your choice

1 large can diced tomatoes

2 cans beer what ever kind you like. Dark beer is really good if you are using stew meat.

And the awesome Olde Westport Chili Seasoning. (I do not measure I just go by taste)

What to do:

This is so easy. Brown your meat and sauté your onions. Put all ingredients into a crock-pot adding beer to desired consistency some times more sometimes less. Cook on high for 1 hour then turn to medium eat when your ready. Do not add water to this chili if you need more liquid add more beer.

Serve it up:

I like to eat this with shredded cheese, raw onions, jalapeños and sour cream. YuM!!

Change it up:

It is chili do what you want with it.

I love the Olde Westport Seasonings! This weather has been perfect for Chili too. Great idea AJ! I like their Salsa and Fajita seasonings too. Add a little for more mexican flare to your chili. ;)

Oh my goodness! They have this Chili Verde Seasoning too that is killer. Mix a little with some cream of chicken soup and some milk and you have a great enchilada sauce! The people that are running the place are really nice too I stopped by and let them know I used their spice in this recipe and they were really excited.
