Midwest Rockfest is next week at Lake Afton in Wichita, and is going to feature bands like Styx and Twisted sister, as well as some local/independent groups. Our friends over at Rok ICT sat down with CJ "The Boss" Cross for a video interview to get the scoop on the event. Because of the blizzard on it's way moving about as fast as an Empire Star Destroyer, we're going to revise the plan. We don't really want to leave Wallace out to get snowed upon. He was hidden at the Farmer's Market.

Here are some movies from my childhood that I've thought about recently that I really want to see again.
Of course, part of me is excited to give in to the nostalgia and re-watch them, but another part of me is scared that I will only taint my memory of it and wonder what the heck I was thinking.
Yes Man is a movie starring Jim Carrey, in which, due to some supernatural circumstances, he loses his ability to say "No" and can only say "Yes."
Naturally, this new affliction gets our protagonist into many hilarious situations in which your average person would say "no", but he is unable to. He'll of course learn a lot from the situation he finds himself in and become a better person for it. He may even strengthen relationships with those around him.
The deep inner-nerd which has been suppressed for quite some time got to see a little daylight today when I saw the trailer for the new Star Trek movie.
