I like to think of myself as practical. Practical when it comes to
fashion, practical when it comes to my home, practical when it comes to
business. So, what in the world makes me keep buying these darling pink
purses?
Before the 2009 Handbag Auction fundraising event for Cancer Council
for Reno
County, I have owned exactly ZERO pink purses. However, at that
auction, my mother in law, Pam and I both fell in love with and bought
pink purses. Hers was a darling coral pink purse that she still carries,
mine a pink sports bag that I carry into town twice a week with all of
my volleyball gear in it.

Ok, so this is a bit extreme. Matching my outfits to these cute chairs, but that's how darling they are! This darling cowboy chair is one of the chairs that will be available to bid on this Thursday at Brickhouse Boutique.
These decorative chairs are all done up for you to come bid on them at the silent auction in front of Amelia Beadealia's at
117 ½ S. Main in downtown Hutchinson, Kansas, this Thursday, May 20th from 5:00 - 8:30pm. Bidding closes as 8:30pm.
I would pair this fabulous southern style chair with a pair of Frye Harness boots, slim jeans and a great top.
At
the beginning of the summer season this year, while I was pulling out
my summer clothes, I had about eight new pieces that I had barely worn
the year before. The reason why? I had bought them at the end of the
summer last year. (when they were marked down about fifty percent, at
end of season sales) The end of season sales are already starting and I've gotten some killer deals for the 2010 spring and summer season.

"Consumers mood not as grim as previously thought"
"Consumers mood improves in April"
These are headlines that I captured while searching online. I know
times are tough for many of us, and we are all buckling down a bit more
even if we aren't feeling the heavy pinch.
Can we help change our attitude about the economy with fashion?
No need to do it the expensive way. Here are some cheap smart ways to purchase some classic and yet trendy spring/summer clothes.
Color and Mood, Mood and Color -
I find it interesting how the color(s) that I wear affect my mood. I also find it interesting how my mood affects the color(s) I wear.
TODAY'S FASHION MANTRA:
Find multiple uses for one thing. Look in your closet & drawers for things that you could multi-purpose into a new look for you.
My first article was about looking good on the outside. But after
another article here on What's Up Hutch about the show; Inner Beauty, I
wanted to talk about two things; Inner Beauty and multiple fashion uses
for an inexpensive item.
