When it comes to physical activity, studies show that “every little bit helps”! Try the following ideas – to add a little bit…or more…to your day! At Home: - Walk or bicycle with your kids to and from school. If it’s too far, park a shorter distance from the school and walk your kids the rest of the way.
- Do your own yard work instead of hiring out. Make it a family activity.
- When talking on the phone, get up and walk around the house.
- While watching TV, during every commercial, do stretching or floor exercises.
