Great American Backyard Campout

I have found that a mix of vinegar and water in a spray bottle keeps those mosquito away. I had trouble with ants and keep a bottle of the 50/50 mix around all the time. You can also put lavender, peppermint or tea tree essential oil in it to make it smell better for you - the bugs hate it. Also, planting those things in your yard can reduce the bugs you have. Coffee grounds (used) are also supposed to be a deterrent. Not sure how it is on mosquitos but if you want to stuff some of that in your pocket and give it a try. Actually, sprinkling them around your camp site would probably keep a lot of things at bay.
