You'd think they would have done some better advertising to where people caught word.

Bob Hunter sent in some pictures of Grandview elementary being torn down. Here they are for anybody that used to go there. I attended only for Kindergarten forever ago.

A good friend of mine lives for fishing and recently has had many success stories of his recent trips to Cheney lake. He's been hitting the motherload of walleye. I'm no fisherman, and he's not a cook.

Hutchinson Public Library… it’s got to be one of the best around.  I’ve been a pretty “regular” visitor there for the last 9 years.  I have to admit I’ve always been a “reader” but that really was not what took me to the library 9 years ago. 

Just wanted to share an experience with you that really made me think we all need to stop and appreciate the teachers and educators of our children and grandchildren a whole bunch.  I have always respected them and for several reasons.  First of all, I wanted to be a teacher. I was enrolled at Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska to be an English teacher and then backed out and went to business college instead but lots of my friends went on to be great teachers.
