We all have them. Stop and think about it. I have lots but today one stood out like a “shining star”. She’s not a brilliant teacher, a great politician, nor a worldly leader.
I’m getting there. It’s just that time of the year, and I’ve tried to do things differently this year. In fact, we’ve done a few things differently this year, and I’ve been pretty good about it. You see, Christmas has always been HUGE to me.
First of all I apologize for being gone from WUH…. Personal family health issues with elderly family members have just kept me busy and stressed (many of you can relate) but I’ve been an avid reader and follower and always amazed at the growth and dedication.
I have struggled. I have voted every year (I think – I might have missed a couple of years in my twenties – I’m getting old!) – But I know I’ve voted every presidential election since I’ve been 18 and this is definitely the hardest year ever! Voting is a privilege and a right to me and extremely important. I’ve always felt good about it and it’s been easy for me. I pride myself in studying the issues and the candidates. I never vote straight ticket – I vote for the person. Many years I have campaigned for candidates that I believed in and wanted to help.
