Hutchinson Public Library… it’s got to be one of the best around. I’ve been a pretty “regular” visitor there for the last 9 years. I have to admit I’ve always been a “reader” but that really was not what took me to the library 9 years ago.

Head to “Smith’s Market” and take your time…..
grab a cart, go all the way to the south isle, stop, check out the neat shirts
they have. Don’t miss the candles as you turn the corner toward the
wonderful produce. Then, check out those healthy bagged snacks –
you cannot begin to choose between them. Everything looks wonderful –
but the atmosphere is phenominal! It takes you back in time. I love
being able to pour out my own spices into little bags – getting just the
amount I want! Then the CANDY counter is a delight! Service
and attitude among staff is the best – it’s a treat and another “plus”
for Hutchinson and Reno County!
Purchase one of their “green” bags and take it on a regular basis
for shopping!

The “Jim
Martinez Trail,” that is … at whatever capacity you want… walking, running, biking,
birdwatching, skateboarding and hopping on at many different locations and going
however far you want to go! It’s great, it’s free, it’s healthy, it’s safe and
it’s another thing Hutchinson offers that we should be thankful for as citizens!
