| On Saturday November 15th poetry will be the order of the day at the Hutchinson Art Center, 405 N. Washington. Starting at 2:00pm there will be a poetry workshop open to all sixteen years of age and older. There are no prerequisites to participate in this free forum. Anyone interested in poetry is encouraged to avail themselves of this valuable opportunity to expand their knowledge of the art form. Leading the workshop will be published poets and educators from throughout the area. Working with those in attendance will be Steven Hind, Harley Elliott, Sheila Lisman, Daniel Spees, and Bill Sheldon. At 7:00pm the community is again invited to the Art Center, for a poetry reading. Poets reading their works include those listed above as well as those who participated in the workshop. Both events are free and open to the public and surely can’t miss events for all who love the creative expression and use of language. These programs are sponsored by the Hutchinson/Reno Arts and Humanities Council in cooperation with the Hutchinson Art Center.
